OBJECTIVE OF THE ASSIGNMENT:
To build the capacity of Medical Officers, NHM staff, CHOs, and other frontline health workers on key aspects of LF elimination, including MDA implementation, refusal conversion, social mobilization, and MMDP services.
SCOPE OF WORK:
- Conduct training sessions for Medical Officers, NHM staff, and CHOs on MDA planning & preparedness, supervision, and social mobilization.
- Facilitate practical sessions, role-plays, and demonstrations (e.g., drug administration, refusal conversion, ADR management, and MMDP services).
- Provide guidance on influencers engagement, identification of High Refusal / low coverage area, microplanning, reporting formats, and supervision.
- Support integration of CHOs in MDA campaigns and MMDP service delivery through orientation and supportive mentoring.
- Get the CHO level plan developed to improve MDA compliance at the last mile.
- Submit training reports highlighting key achievements, challenges, Gaps and recommendations.
- Support in post-training follow-up and mentorship wherever required.
- Analyse pre/post-tests and use the data for next planning.
Qualification Required:
- Master’s degree in public health, Social Work or related field.
Experience Required:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in public health training or program implementation, preferably in NTDs, MDA campaigns, or community health programs
- Proven experience in conducting ToTs and field-level capacity-building sessions
- Strong communication, facilitation, and documentation skills
- Willingness to travel extensively across assigned districts
