PCI India, a registered Indian society, has been working in India for the past 25 years. We drive interventions to transform the lives of communities at scale by solving complex development problems. Our programs strive to impact the social, economic, health and nutritional status of the most vulnerable individuals and families. - Qualification: Completed bachelor’s/ pursuing master’s degree in social sciences preferably in development communications, sociology, social psychology or any other relevant fields
Skills and Attributes
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms and their respective audiences (e.g. Twitter, LinkedIn).
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, short deadline environment.
- Experience with content creation software (e.g. Canva)
- Ability to undertake literature review and online research.
- Excellent skills on PowerPoint, excel, word in MS office package and other software as relevant.
- Excellent written and communication skills in English.
About the Project
PCI hosts the South Asia Social Norms Learning Collaborative (SA-SNLC), which is a platform to share, learn and engage on social norms in South Asia. It aims to build a network of organizations, researchers, practitioners, academicians, enthusiasts, and others interested in working on social norms in South Asia.
About the Position
We are looking for a candidate to provide support for social media, event management and communication products. The role primarily involves a mix of desk research and knowledge management tasks grounded in a strong theoretical foundation of social norms framework. The candidate will also be expected to support the social media for gender-related projects of PCI India as required.
To support the implementation of the South Asia Social Norms & Agency Learning Collaborative (SA-SNLC) workplan by contributing to digital outreach, knowledge documentation, and coordination of learning activities.
Roles and responsibilities
- Digital Outreach and content support
- Assist in executing light-touch external outreach activities and finalisation (social media, newsletters, email campaigns)
- Developing invitations, registration forms and updating schedule dashboard for members of the learning collaborative and wider community
- Draft and design content for digital platforms (posts, briefs, summaries, visual content)
- Support tracking of engagement metrics and maintain outreach logs
- Support in organizing and hosting webinars.
- Knowledge Documentation
- Support development of learning products including:
- Blogs
- Case studies
- Event summaries
- Knowledge briefs
- Quarterly Newsletters
- Compile and synthesize information from internal discussions and partner inputs
- Write a blog on a topic of interest related to social norms, agency or gender
- Edit video bytes as required.

Event & Convening Support
- Assist in organizing webinars, roundtables, and dissemination events
- Support logistics, note-taking, and post-event documentation
- Prepare presentations and background materials
- Assist in convening the in-person members consultations.

Research & Learning
- Support Project Associate in conducting rapid literature reviews on social norms, gender, and agency
- Support compilation of global and regional examples for learning dissemination.
- Coordination & MIS
- Maintain trackers for activities, outputs, and timelines
- Support documentation for reporting and internal reviews
- Support in coordination with stakeholders for the activities conducted under the project.
Recruitment Process
- Applications will be shortlisted based on the criteria mentioned in the job description.
- The process may include a presentation of the assignment.
- Shortlisted candidates will be invited for one or more rounds of panel interviews.
The complete process usually takes 2–3 weeks. Candidates moving to the final round will hear from the People & Culture team. In‑person meetings are preferred, but virtual meetings are conducted where distance is a constraint.
