- Experience required:
- 3-5 years ofexperience with social development projects. Preference for experience onmanaging MIS for large-scale development or CSR projects.
- Proficiencyin Excel, data visualization tools, and digital data collection platforms.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to translate data into actionableinsights.
- Ability to collaborate and coordinate at different levels with thedonor, stakeholders and project teams.
- Willingness to travel extensively tothe field

About the Position:
She Shines – Empowering the Girls: The project adopts a life-cycle approach targeting three age groups: 0–5 years (Early Childhood), 6–12 years (Growing Minds), and 13–18 years (Emerging Adulthood). This is a comprehensive intervention program across the catchment areas of 10 of its production units of HINDALCO, spread across six states—Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Odisha, Maharashtra, Jharkhand, Karnataka and Madhya Pradesh.
The program is expected to directly benefit 50,000 girls across 534 villages over three years with the aim of transforming the status of girl children and contribute to significant improvements in their education access, nutrition and health outcomes, menstrual hygiene, digital safety, and adolescent empowerment. This project is supported by Hindalco under its CSR initiative, and the project geography is spread across its production units in seven states.
The Position
The MIS Officer will be responsible for designing, managing, and maintaining the project’s Management Information System to ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality data collection, analysis, visualization, and reporting for evidence-based decision-making. S/he will work closely with the Project Manager and will also be responsible for quality implementation of the project in the field. For the assigned geography / region, will manage various components of the project such as capacity building of stakeholders, awareness and mobilisation, community and family engagements and sustainable interventions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Major Duties and Responsibilities Program Implementation andCoordination
- Assist in developing detailed implementation plans, village wise intervention planand coordination mechanisms aligned with the outcomes and project proposal.
- Lead district-levelimplementation, and monitoring of project activities, as per the assigned geography / region. MIS &Data Systems Management
- Operationalize and manage the project MIS, including the Android-based data collection application and centralized database.
- Ensure routine data capture fromvillage volunteers, Unit Coordinators, and field teams as per defined indicators.
- Maintain dataquality through validation checks, audits, and regular data cleaning. Monitoring & Reporting
- Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual progress reports aligned with output and outcomeindicators.
- Develop and update dashboards at project, unit, and village levels for internal reviewand donor reporting.
- Support tracking of key indicators related to health, nutrition, education, andlife skills. Capacity Building & Support
- Train project staff and frontline teams on MIS tools, dataentry protocols, and reporting formats.
- Provide troubleshooting and ongoing technical support for digital data collection systems. Learning & Documentation
- Support qualitative datadocumentation, including stories of change, case studies, and field insights.
- Contribute tolearning briefs and dissemination materials.
- Skill and Competencies

Recruitment Process

- Group Discussions may be part of the interview process for certain positions.
- The process could also include presentation of the assignment.
- Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend one or more rounds of panel interview/s.
