PCI India, a registered Indian society, has been working in India for the past 25 years. We drive interventions to transform the lives of communities at scale by solving complex development problems. Our programs strive to impact the social, economic, health and nutritional status of the most vulnerable individuals and families. About the Position:

Qualification Required: Graduate degree/ diploma in business management, sales, marketing, entrepreneurship development, social sciences, or any other field.
Experience Required:
- At least 2 years of experience in projects (e.g., livelihood, energy -DRE/Solar, climate resilience) implementation, rural marketing, business development, etc.
- Experience of working with women entrepreneurs/SHG women/FPOs from rural geographies
- Experience of working on solar installation projects/B2C (in rural areas) will be a plus.
Skills and Attributes:
- Strong sense of professional commitment and maturity.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Ability to work independently and handle a team
- Excellent oral and written Hindi and English skills
About the Project:
PCI India works in the areas of Health& Nutrition, Gender and Women Economic Empowerment, and Climate Change. PCI India is committed to tackling climate change by empowering vulnerable and marginalized communities with climate-resilient livelihood and health solutions. Its approach focuses on integrated, community-driven models that strengthen adaptation, support mitigation, and promote low-emission development. PCI offers strong competencies in community mobilization, demand generation, feasibility assessments, technical support, and capacity building to advance Decentralized Renewable Energy (DRE) solutions aligned with the state’s clean energy goals.
Across India, PCI India is planning to launch its DEWEE project (started in UP), enabling an overall 1,000,000 women-led enterprises to adopt solar energy and train women solar technicians as Solar Didi’s under the GREEN Shakti initiative. Decentralized Energy for Women Economic Empowerment focuses on bringing solar energy solutions to the Informal Micro Enterprises (IMEs) and the MSME Enterprises in the state through mobilization, capacity building, lead generation, and facilitating the installation of solar solutions for these enterprises.
About the Role
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct outreach to women entrepreneurs, SHGs, and CLFs to assess interest in solar solutions
- Facilitate demand aggregation for solar PV installations.
- Support vendor identification and assist in project proposals for solar installations.
- Provide on-ground technical assistance and training to SHG members and entrepreneurs.
- Monitor the technical performance of solar installations and gather feedback.
- Prepare reports on outreach activities, project progress, and stakeholder engagement required at the district level and below.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, including government departments, vendors, and local authorities, for schemes, leverage, partnerships, or other activities.
- Regular reporting to the supervisor on the day-to-day progress of field activities and reporting in the digital MIS.
- Coordinate field visits, workshops, etc., for all relevant stakeholders and manage the program participants.

Recruitment Process
- Applications will be shortlisted based on the criteria mentioned in the job description.
- The process may include a presentation of the assignment.
- Shortlisted candidates will be invited for one or more rounds of panel interviews.
The complete process usually takes 2–3 weeks. Candidates moving to the final round will hear from the People & Culture team. In‑person meetings are preferred, but virtual meetings are conducted where distance is a constraint.
