- Master’s degree in social sciences preferably in psychology, sociology, economics, political science, social work, management, marketing, development communications, or any other relevant fields
- Proven work experience in managing social media and digital outreach through newsletters, webinars, and websites.
- Three to four years of relevant professional experience in gender and development related works.
- Have experience of managing collaboratives, alliances etc..
Skills and Attributes
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms and their respective audiences (e.g. X, LinkedIn).
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, short deadline environment.
- Experience with content creation software (e.g. Canva)
- Experience with using website content management systems like WordPress and SEO best practices.
- Experience of using newsletter/mass mailing management services like Mail Chimp etc. and analyzing their metrics.
- Ability to undertake literature review and online research.
- Excellent skills on PowerPoint, excel, word in MS office package and other software as relevant.
- Excellent written and communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Efficient writing skills in developing presentations and documents to translate information to suit specific audiences.
About the Project
PCI hosts the South Asia Social Norms Learning Collaborative (SA-SNALC), which is a platform to share, learn and engage on social norms in South Asia. It aims to build a network of organisations, researchers, practitioners, academicians, enthusiasts, and others interested in working on social norms in South Asia.
About the Position
We are looking for a candidate to lead the execution of the SA-SNALC workplan, ensuring timely delivery of outreach, partnerships, and knowledge dissemination outputs while maintaining strong coordination and quality documentation. The candidate will be anchoring the overall day-to-day management of the South Asia- Social Norms and Agency Learning Collaborative. Reporting to the Program Manager, as the Project Associate, the person will be responsible for handling all the engagement verticals of SA-SNALC which includes conducting meetings with the members, developing knowledge products and communications products, developing concept notes, writing reports and managing social media handles of the platform etc. The candidate would also be responsible for creating and managing an analytics dashboard to monitor and track the results of member and digital engagement of the SA-SNALC.
- Key roles and responsibilities Member engagement
- Network and liaise with organisations, researchers, implementors, donors and other enthusiasts to seek membership at SA-SNALC.
- Provide in-person and virtual orientation about the work at SA-SNALC to potential members.
- Organise webinars, workshops, and in-person/ virtual meetings periodically with members and other enthusiast interested in working in the domain of social norms.
- Connect with our members to encourage them to co-create and/or contribute to our knowledge resources (e.g., writing a blog, case study, technical knowledge piece etc.)
- Organize other strategic meetings relevant to Gender and Social Norms as needed or as advised by the Program Manager.
Social media engagement
- Manage social media handles of SA-SNALC (LinkedIn, YouTube).
- Develop and upload creative and meaningful social media posts weekly.
- Tracking and assessing the social media metrics (engagement and conversion rates).
- Ensuring a steady growth on our social media handles by consistent engagement.
Content development
- Create, edit and publish engaging, accurate and informative content (e.g. social media posts, short videos, infographics, blogs, newsletters,) that advances our objectives and resonates with our members.
- Conducting secondary research and providing support for SA-SNLC research activities.
- Conduct stakeholder interviews to document social norms perception on the ground.
Documentation and Monitoring
- Develop monthly progress reports of the work at SA-SNALC.
- Develop high quality PowerPoint presentations and data visualization for discussion with donor and different stakeholders.
- Monitoring the progress SA-SNALC is making in all its engagement verticals.
Outreach and communication support
- Manage SA-SNALC’s website and build its online presence through development and publishing of compelling content and integration of SEO best practices.
- Liaise with website management agency to ensure uptime and updates of the website as needed.
- Maintain and update the mailing list of members.
- Lead on and support with ideation, planning, curation and execution of online events (webinars, workshops etc)
- Support communication team of PCI is regular messaging on social norms work on social media.
Quality Assurance
- Review all outputs for clarity, consistency, and alignment with program objectives
- Ensure coherence across communication, learning, and outreach materials

Recruitment Process
- Applications will be shortlisted based on the criteria mentioned in the job description.
- The process may include a presentation of the assignment.
- Shortlisted candidates will be invited for one or more rounds of panel interviews.
The complete process usually takes 2–3 weeks. Candidates moving to the final round will hear from the People & Culture team. In‑person meetings are preferred, but virtual meetings are conducted where distance is a constraint.
