Dr Deepa, has been with the United Nations for over two decades with extensive
experience in advocating and supporting public policies and programmes. She
started her career with the World Health Organisation working on Communicable
Disease Surveillance and Control, then with UNDP on Disaster Risk Resilience with
attention to Health Sector’s Emergency Preparedness and Response. She is
currently the Chief of programmes at UNFPA India Office and oversees portfolios of
Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights, Gender and human rights and Adolescent
and Youth empowerment.
She has extended strategic support in designing and implementing policies and
large-scale programmes for women and young people and has worked extensively
on issues around Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights of girls and women,
especially among the marginalized and vulnerable communities. Dr. Deepa is an
Obstetrician by training and holds a master’s degree in public health with
specialisation in Health Services Management.

Dr. Raj Shankar Ghosh is a Physician with training
in public health. Over the past three decades, Dr Ghosh has worked in multiple
organizations including West Bengal State Health Services, the World Health
Organization, the Institute for OneWorld Health, PATH, and Bil & Melinda Gates
Foundation in various capacities. His primary area of work has been on health

systems strengthening, primary health care delivery, infectious disease management
and immunization programs in India and countries of South Asia. In 2013, the Indian
Public Health Association conferred an honorary Fellowship to Dr Ghosh in
recognition of his contribution in promoting public health in India and South Asian
countries.
Dr Ghosh is currently an independent consultant working on infectious diseases, One
Health and Climate Health related activities in India, South Asia and Africa. He leads
the activities of the Centre for Environmental Health, Public Health Foundation of
India. Dr Ghosh is the founding member of the Quality, Equity and Inclusiveness
Initiative that is embedded in the Department of Management Studies, Indian Institute
of Technology, New Delhi.

Richa
Sharma is Fellow and Area Convenor for the Environment and Health Assessment
Area under the Air Quality Research Division at The Energy and Resources Institute
(TERI). At TERI she is currently heading the work at intersections of environment and
health including air pollution, climate change and health issues. She has experience
working on various WHO and UNDP projects including research projects such as the
WHO Research Subcommittee Report on the global climate change and health
research, capacity building works such as WHO SEARO project for developing
training modules on climate change and health for OpenWHO Platform, policy
recommendations and briefs for India for the Lancet Countdown on health and
climate change, as well as Government of India projects such as activities conducted
as the Centre of Excellence for 'Green and Climate Resilient Healthcare' under
National Action Plan on Climate Change and Human Health. She has also been
involved in teaching modules on climate change to the MPH (Master’s in Public
Health) students and developing course modules for multi-country ELearning course
on the Global Perspectives of Climate Change & Health for medical students and
professionals. Dr. Sharma has completed her Master’s and PhD in Environemntal
Sciences from TERI SAS in 2014 and pursued her postdoctoral research at RMA
Unit in VITO, Belgium.

Medha is a health and gender expert with close to two and a half decades of
experience of working with girls and women with a keen focus on SRHR. After
working with leading national and international non-profit organizations and private
philanthropies on women’s health and rights, she has now set-up her consulting firm,
Counterpoint Impact Advisory and is leading a team of independent experts to
support funders, implementing organisations and think tanks on co-creating
development solutions. Over the past decade, she has worked on nurturing
campaigns and coalitions for impact on comprehensive abortion care, respectful
maternity care and family planning. She worked for six years with the Gates
Foundation leading the program advocacy portfolio for family health, immunization
and infectious diseases. Prior to that she has worked extensively on adolescent and
youth issues, comprehensive abortion care and family planning.

Neha Chauhan is currently leading CSR and Social Performance for Shell in India and recipient of Powering Progress Award of Shell. With specialization in ESG, Climate Action, SDG Integration and Gender, she has held key global and regional roles at UN Women, IPPF, UNAIDS and Ministry of Health. She has also actively contributed to key UN and intergovernmental committees, including BRICS, SAARC, and the SDGs. An alumna of the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Neha is a published author on youth and gender issues.

Anjana Guha Roy Chowdhury is working as Assistant Director General in The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCC&I), one of India’s oldest institutes of its kind dating its origins to 1833. Angana joined BCC&I in 2009 January as Programme Manager. She is still the youngest Secretariat Member of the Chamber in Directorial Position. Passionate about sustainability, she has led BCC&I’s initiative of participating in COP26, United Nations Climate Change Conference. BCC&I was granted approval to present a Panel Discussion on Accelerating Electric Mobility with Green Jobs and Gender Parity on 10th November at Green Zone, COP26 in Glasgow. She is also the anchor of clean energy and sustainability focused programmes of BCC&I including decarbonization, net zero, circular economy, ESG among others.

D. V. Raidu IAS retd. Senior official with Technical background in soil science. Worked long years in Agricultural department. Has 17 years exposure to non chemical, Agro ecological( called Community Managed Natural farming) initiatives especially working with women CBOs in sustainable agricultural based livelihoods and tackling climate emergency .

He is also a practising NF farmer in 8 acres in TG State and created food forest including oil palm, Guava and vegetables etc. Offered for certification and working to access carbon credits.

Poulami Bhattacharyya is a development sector practitioner with close to two decades of experience while working with PRADAN, Udyogini, CARE India, NRLM-MoRD, and Magic bus India foundation. She specialises in promoting Gender equity by championing Women’s involvement in traditional and non-traditional livelihoods and Entrepreneurship by bringing the components of technology and innovation. She is currently heading the Women Entrepreneurship vertical in Nasscom foundation which focusses on the digital upskilling of nano rural Women Entrepreneurs across regions. She is academically trained in Anthropology, Social work and Human Rights.

Ripu is a seasoned sector leader with 15+ years of international interdisciplinary experience in advancing India’s journey towards energy transition and climate action. His past decade has been spent developing and implementing programs to the tune of $100 million for a variety of donors and institutions, including USAID, UKAID (DFID), and The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI). His work spans grassroots initiatives, for India’s largest civil society-led energy access program to global companies like General Electric, Deloitte etc. He also led multiple key Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) projects for a variety of public and private corporate donors as the Principal Project Investigator. Ripu is well-traveled across rural India, the US, parts of South-East Asia, and Sub-Saharan Africa.

Ripu holds an MA in Sustainable International Development (SID) from the Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University, USA. He was the only Indian recipient of the prestigious Joint Japan World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program (JJ/WBGSP) for the graduating class of 2023.

Dr. Manisha Mukherjee, with a Ph.D. in Environmental Science, has 24+ years of experience in Environmental, Climate Change, and Sustainability consulting. Her work experience includes environment, sustainability, climate change mitigation, adaptation, climate finance, and disaster resilience-related issues. She has also contributed to designing innovative financing mechanisms and strategies for climate-smart investments at the state as well as at the national level across different sectors. She has worked for clients in India, Abu Dhabi, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Eswatini, Sudan, Nigeria and South Africa.

While working in the space of clean energy, energy transition and climate change and dealing with the community for project implementation, she has gained an understanding of the fine balance between climate energy and gender nexus. Manisha is a regular speaker in different national and international forums. Also, as a mentor in the USISPF & USAID funded “South Asia Women in Energy (SAWIE)” programme, she has contributed to the space of “Navigating the Funding Landscape: Securing Capital for Women-Led Energy Startups in South Asia”.
