About the Project

UPAMA – Uttkrisht Parivar Niyojan Adhikar Sanrakshan aevum Matritwa Swasthya Abhiyan is a UNFPA-supported project, operational since June 2023. The project is being implemented across selected priority geographies, including Patna Urban, Sheikhpura, Khagaria and Katihar, with a focus on strengthening systems and institutions to improve the quality and accessibility of family planning, adolescent health and maternal health services, while addressing gender-based violence and related harmful practices. The project works in close collaboration with relevant government departments and stakeholders to strengthen capacities, promote evidence-based interventions, and support sustainable improvements in health and gender outcomes.

The Role

This position of Program MIS & Logistics Support will be providing programme coordination, administrative and logistical assistance to facilitate smooth and timely implementation of activities under the UPAMA project. The position will work closely with the Programme manager and UPAMA team to support planning, coordination and follow-up of programme activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support planning, coordination and logistical arrangements for meetings, workshops, , trainings, field visits and other programme activities.
  • Assist the Programme manager in coordination with government departments, districts and other stakeholders for implementation and follow-up of activities.
  • Support preparation and compilation of programme-related documents, meeting notes, activity reports and other relevant documentation.
  • Maintain programme MIS and trackers and records and support timely follow-up on agreed actions and deliverables.
  • Provide administrative and logistical support related to travel, procurement, payments, events and other operational requirements in accordance with organisational procedures.

Key Deliverables:

Month-1 (October)

  • Timely programme coordination and logistical support for UPAMA activities and stakeholder engagements.
  • Updated programme documentation and trackers, including activity records, meeting proceedings and follow-up actions.
  • Operational and administrative support for meetings, workshops, trainings, field activities and travel and day to day coordination with PCI finance and logistics teams.
  • Supporting program manager with consolidated updates/reports on activities supported, coordination undertaken and pending actions.

Month-2 (November)

  • Timely programme coordination and logistical support for UPAMA activities and stakeholder engagements.
  • Updated programme documentation and trackers, including activity records, meeting proceedings and follow-up actions.
  • Operational and administrative support for meetings, workshops, trainings, field activities and travel and day to day coordination with PCI finance and logistics teams.

Recruitment Process
