Qualification Required: Post Graduate degree from in one of Commerce, Economics, Environmental Science, Political Science, Sociology, Statistics or related fields

Experience Required:

  • Prior work experience in relevant organisation/projects will be an added advantage.
  • Understanding of and a keen interest in the development sector work would be preferred.

Skills and Attributes:

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication (oral and written), negotiation, and facilitation skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Having proficiency in statistical software is desirable
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks.

The Role

The PCI Research team comprises highly qualified professionals with advanced technical expertise and strong research capabilities. Leveraging state-of-the-art technologies for data collection and applying innovative, rigorous methodologies tailored to the specific needs of each study, the team delivers high-quality evidence to inform programs and policy.

The team leads a wide range of research and evaluation studies for both PCI and external partners, employing experimental, quasi-experimental, mixed-methods, theory-based, and participatory research approaches. In addition to conducting research and evaluations, the team provides strategic measurement, learning, and evaluation (MLE) support to PCI program teams by strengthening routine monitoring systems, designing concurrent measurement frameworks, and contributing to the development of competitive grant proposals with robust evidence and learning components.

The team is also responsible for organizational impact measurement, including the annual beneficiary reporting process and the estimation and dissemination of PCI’s annual reach and impact metrics, ensuring that the organization’s contributions are effectively documented and communicated to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Partnerships and Collaboration for Research
    • Extend support in daily coordination within and outside the PCI Research team for ongoing studies
    • Maintain and track communications with the donors and clients
    • Identify and establish connections with strategic partners for need-based collaboration
  • Documentation
    • Draft and refine project proposals, concept notes, progress reports, case studies, and other key deliverables for internal and external stakeholders.
    • Organize and facilitate review meetings, presentations, and client feedback sessions, ensuring actionable outcomes and follow-up.
    • Prepare official communications, including letters, meeting minutes, proposals, to support engagement with government agencies, corporate partners, donors, and other stakeholders.
    • Maintain systematic documentation and knowledge management to ensure institutional memory and easy access to information.
  • Stakeholder Coordination
    • Provide logistical and coordination support for stakeholder visits, government interactions, workshops, and review meetings.
    • Collaborate with internal teams including programs, strategy, digital, communications, finance, and people & culture to ensure integrated and client-focused solutions.
    • Build and sustain positive relationships with partners to foster trust, collaboration, and long-term engagement.
  • Other Responsibilities
    • Collaborate with the communications team to create impactful materials for public relations, corporate communications, brand building, and media outreach.
    • Support the development of communication products such as brochures, reports, presentations, and digital content for diverse audiences.
    • Undertake field visits as and when required.
    • Undertake additional assignments as required to support PCI’s Research team.

Recruitment Process

  1. Applications will be shortlisted based on the criteria mentioned in the job description.
  2. The process may include a presentation of the assignment.
  3. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for one or more rounds of panel interviews.

The complete process usually takes 2–3 weeks. Candidates moving to the final round will hear from the People & Culture team. In‑person meetings are preferred, but virtual meetings are conducted where distance is a constraint.
