About the Position

- Qualification: Intermediate / Graduation in any discipline (Social Sciences preferred)
- Experience Required: 2–4 years of experience in community-based development work or grassroots mobilisation
Skills and Attributes
- Strong interpersonal and community engagement skills
- Ability to work independently in rural settings with daily field movement
- Good communication skills in Hindi (local dialect preferred)
- Basic ability to use smartphones and digital data collection tools
- Willingness to travel extensively within assigned Panchayats
Key Roles and Responsibilities
1. Community Mobilisation & Engagement
- Mobilise community members, SHGs, parents, youth groups, and PRI representatives for programme activities, meetings, and campaigns
- Facilitate community discussions, awareness sessions, and participatory meetings related to health, nutrition, education, WASH, and child‑friendly practices
- Support activation and strengthening of community platforms such as SMCs, VHSNDs, Village Health & Sanitation Committees, and Panchayat‑level forums
2. Panchayat‑Level Implementation Support
- Support implementation of field activities including infrastructure improvement works, school and Anganwadi‑based interventions, and community campaigns
- Coordinate with frontline workers (AWWs, ASHAs, ANMs, teachers) for smooth execution of planned activities
- Assist the District Coordinator during trainings, monitoring visits, and reviews
3. Field Tracking, Data Collection & Documentation
- Collect field‑level data, attendance records, photographs, and community feedback
- Maintain Panchayat‑level activity records and submit regular updates to the District Coordinator
- Support documentation of case studies, best practices, and success stories
4. Local Coordination & Follow‑up
- Act as the first point of contact for community‑level issues related to programme activities
- Facilitate follow‑up actions with frontline workers and Panchayat institutions
- Support grievance redressal, community feedback mechanisms, and inclusion of vulnerable groups
About the Project
Nayee Disha is an integrated rural development initiative implemented in selected Panchayats of Thawe and Gopalganj blocks in Gopalganj district. The programme focuses on strengthening health, nutrition, education, WASH, and local governance systems through infrastructure improvement, capacity building of frontline institutions, and active community engagement.
Anchored in a detailed baseline and aligned with state and national priorities, Nayee Disha aims to build child‑friendly, inclusive, and resilient rural communities.

Recruitment Process
- Applications will be shortlisted based on the criteria mentioned in the job description.
- The process may include a presentation of the assignment.
- Shortlisted candidates will be invited for one or more rounds of panel interviews.
The complete process usually takes 2–3 weeks. Candidates moving to the final round will hear from the People & Culture team. In‑person meetings are preferred, but virtual meetings are conducted where distance is a constraint.
