About the Position

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Position Title: Sr Executive-People & Culture
  • Reporting Line: Manager – People & Culture
  • Location: New Delhi
  • No of Positions: 01

 Qualifications and Experience:

  • The ideal candidate must Possess MBA-HR, or PG or any relevant qualifications with a working experience of about 5-7 in the in Not-for-Profit Sector and multi-cultural environment.
  • Broad knowledge and understanding of Recruitment & HR Operations.
  • Experience of working on ERP will be an added advantage.

 

Skills and competencies

  • Strategic competencies—focusing on long-term thinking and aligning HR strategies with organizational goals.
  • Technical competencies—specialized skills related to HR knowledge domains, such as HR laws and technologies.
  • Interpersonal competencies—interacting effectively with others, such as communication skills, relationship building, and conflict resolution.
  • Functional competencies—emphasizing the practical aspects relevant to HR roles, such as ethical considerations and biases.

 

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

 1. Recruitment:

  • Plan long & short-term recruitment needs in accordance with the requirement of the projects.
  • Coordinate with the project teams to ensure timely recruitment of human resources including framing of the job description, firming up the interview process, conducting the interview process.
  • Work closely with other departments and assist the line managers in understanding and implementing HR procedures and policies.
  • Coordinate and manage all staff orientation, probation review and exit interviews.
  • Ensure all legal processes are adhered in HR management and PCI follows all the labor laws & regulations along with the demonstration of best practices in regard to Human Resource Management.
  • Periodic orientation on PCI India Employee Handbook.
  • Supervise all the processes associated with entry to exit of an employee.
  • Ensure completion of all formalities and documentation formalities for each hire.
  1. Human Resource Information System

 

  • Maintaining and updating trackers like Master database, preparing other reports as per requirement
  • Timesheet Management and Leave Management System
  • HR Portal management – Play a connecting role between employee and support team in resolving any issue also engaged in new employee account registration.
  • Ensure smooth and timely updating of all HR related information follow up with staff to ensure submission of all records including timesheets, leave applications etc.
  1. Employee Relation & Culture
  • Effective conflict resolution (complaints, disputes & grievances) for all personnel
  • Facilitate employee welfare activities by implementing reward policies to motivate employees towards better performance and build employee morale.

Required Qualifications Skills and Experience

  • Professional qualification in MBA/ PGDM Human Resource degree from a reputed institute
  • At least 5-7 years of relevant, professional experience at responsible positions requiring strategic planning.
  • Experience with a reputed national/ international organization in social development.
  • Demonstrate behaviour and practices in upholding professional integrity and honesty in all official dealings.
  • To ensure high motivation level among employees and promoting their urge to constantly innovate new strategies and approaches.
  • Excellent English writing and reading skills, proficiency in other regional language will be a plus.

Recruitment Process

  2. Shortlisted candidates will appear for a written assignment (if required).
  3. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend one or more rounds of panel interview/s.

The complete process usually takes 2 to 3 weeks. If your application is not shortlisted, you will receive a mail from the People & Culture team. Those moving to the final round of interviews will be hearing from the People & Culture team. We prefer in person meetings but in case of location distances, we are happy to meet you virtually.

After the final round, if you are not selected for the position advertised, we will inform you over a mail.
